The University of Idaho's annual Flute Fest
takes place in the University Auditorium in Moscow, ID on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.. Patricia George offers her Flute Spa until 3:00 p.m., at which time the exhibits open. A flute choir concert featuring George as soloist occurs at 4, led by director Leonard Garrison. All events are free and open to the public. The day is sponsored by a grant from Conn-Selmer, Inc. and Lombard’s Music. leonardg@uidaho.edu

The Woodbridge Flute Choir hosts John Barcellona
in a free flute choir masterclass at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church, 6304 Lee Chapel Rd. in Burke, Virginia at 2:30 p.m.. After a dinner break at 5:30 p.m., a 7:30 p.m., free concert by the Woodbridge Flute Choir will feature Barcellona performing Kent Kennan’s Night Soliloquy and Ian Clarke’s Zoom Tub.
