Herman Student Award

The student award (5" x 7") is given to the winners each year. The award honors outstanding jazz band students and is made from solid walnut. There is a line for engraving the student’s name and date of presentation.

Middle schools use the award to honor their top jazz players, while high schools offer it as a runner-up for the Armstrong Award. While the quantities of the Armstrong Award are limited, the Herman Award is not and may be given to any number of deserving students.
